Vedic Astrology

The word Vedic is derived from the Vedas. This universal knowledge was imparted to the sages about 5000 years ago when they were absorbed in a meditative state of pure consciousness. As we know that VEDA is the oldest, venerable & recognised literature.

“Vidhyante gnyante labhyante va emidharmadipurusartha iti veda”

That means from which we can know & get four diligences “DHARMA, ARATHA, KAMA, MOKSHA” its called “VEDA”.

The VEDA is related to the cosmic body (Kalapurusha) & divides in to six parts that’s called VEDANGS.

These six parts are:

1.VYAKARANA (Face)
2.SHIKSHA (Nose)
3.JYOTISHA (Eyes) i.e. Astrology
4.NIRUKTA (Ears)
5.KALPA (Hands)
6.CHANDDA (Legs)

EYES are the very essential & unavoidable part of our body to achieve the goal, to know about upcoming opportunity & resistance, to plan and create proper way to get the targets. Thus Astrology - the eyes of cosmic body is the only utensil to know & understand every animate & inanimate, natural & artificial, small & big factor of the universe.

The word jyoti means a flame or light & Astro = star & logos = science

Jyotish sheds light on the four pillars of life: dharma (our purpose in life), artha (security), kama (desires in worldly life) and moksha (ultimate liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth).

Astrology is mainly divided in to three SKANDA (parts)

SHIDDHANTA
This is the base of astrology its include astronomy & mathematics for astrological calculations.


SAMHITA
This is a collection of law or code of any branch of learning like the GARGA SAMHITA, NARAD SAMHIT etc.These are used for predicting natural phenomena like weather, earthquakes etc and also for mass market predictions like political, stock market, sports etc.

HORA

This is natal predictive astrology for the individuals. Any individual can get direction for any subject from natal chart and its helps to make batter life.
